Important Parking Information - Ways Not To Get Ticketed or Towed
- At Riverside City College, City of Riverside parking enforcement officers will cite you if you park on the Wood Streets without a residential permit. An RCCD Parking Permit is NOT a residential permit.
- Students parking in staff spaces (marked by yellow lines) will be cited.
- Students parking in private parking lots near campus is prohibited. Property owners are towing vehicles; one of the most aggressive in enforcing this tow policy is the Community Medical Group of Riverside.
- Students, faculty and staff should consider using alternative means of transportation during the first three weeks of each new term. Ridesharing, taking the bus, bicycling or walking are viable alternatives.
- Always park in a marked parking space, unless directed by RCCD parking officers or police officers.
- Be patient, and give yourself plenty of time to find a parking space. Parking is at a premium during the first three weeks of the new term.
- Lots U and the Evans Baseball Field parking lots are the last to fill up.
