New Online Academic Review Gives Students Current Progress Information
The student version of "Academic Review" is now online and available to all Riverside Community College District students.
Associate Vice Chancellor of Student Services Students/Operations Debbie DiThomas says that students can access this tool through their WebAdvisor accounts.
"Academic Review allows students to see what classes they have completed in the District for their program of choice," said DiThomas. "They also can run "What if?" scenarios to see how close they are to completing another program at any of our colleges."
Utilizing technology in this way enables RCCD’s colleges to provide students with more information to help them successfully complete their education, even during a time of budget cuts and impacted student services. Academic Review is the work of staff and faculty in several departments, says DiThomas, including Information Services, Matriculation and Counseling.
All currently enrolled RCCD students will receive notification of the new service through their rcc.edu student email accounts, and staff is working on printed materials to spread the word around the campuses and to new students.
