Associated STudents of Moreno Valley (ASMV)
The Associated Students of the Moreno Valley Campus (ASMV), along with campus clubs and organizations, are dedicated to providing all students with opportunities to develop leadership skills through participation in student government and co-curricular programs. We offer a number of ways to become involved on campus and in the community.
For more information on Clubs and Organizations, click here.

Being involved in Student Government:
- is a way for students to meet new people, create life-long friendships, and create new experiences;
- will help students learn a number of leadership skills that will benefit them in the future;
- looks great on transcripts and will set students apart from the "mainstream" when applying to transfer; and
- provides Student Government officers with early registration for classes.
The different branches of Student Government are as follows:
- Board of Commissioners (BOC), for students that like to plan activities and want to have a good time.
- Multi-Cultural Advisory Council (MCAC) for those students that want to be involved in multi-cultural activities & education.
- Student Senate is a more serious branch of Student Government, charged with, among other things, handling and allocating over $200,000 in funds.
- The Supreme Court is for students looking into the legal system as a future career.
- Inter-Club Council (ICC) is for club members to represent their clubs & to advertise their club activities.
There are three requirements for joining Student Government:
- A 2.0 GPA
- Currently holding 6 unites or more at RCCD
- A great attitude and a willingness to get involved!!!
