The RCCD Center for International Students & Programs welcomes students from all countries to study at the Riverside Community College District in more than 100 fields, helps students achieve academic success, and assists with transfer to four-year universities they choose for baccalaureate degrees. The center also offers social and cultural programs on campus and in the community. The college values the opportunity for more global awareness and international connections.
The RCCD Center for International Students & Programs provides assistance from the beginning of the online application process, issues I-20 documents to take to the U.S. consulate for F-1 student visas, welcomes students to campus in orientation programs, gives counseling on selection of courses, helps registration in classes, and has clubs for social activities with American students.
More than 300 students from 45-plus countries attend RCCD each semester. They may take classes at any of the three colleges: Riverside City College, Moreno Valley and Norco. With full and part-time students, nearly 30,000 people study at RCC.
Recently RCCD international students transferred to universities throughout California, including UCLA, Berkeley, UC Riverside, UC Irvine, UC San Diego, Cal State San Bernardino, Cal State Fullerton, Cal Poly Pomona, USC, Loma Linda University and others. Other students completed AA degrees and Career Certificates.
