RCC Online Admission Application

Welcome to Riverside City College!! You may submit an admission application if you meet any of the following requirements:

  • Graduated from high school, passed the CA High School Proficiency Exam, or passed the GED examination.
  • Did not graduate from high school but are 18 years of age or older.
  • Did not graduate from high school but attained a Certificate of Completion.
  • A current high school student in grades 11 or 12 who meets eligibility or special program requirements for concurrent enrollment in both high school and college.
  • An international student who needs to begin the international student admission process for program acceptance and I-20 form eligibility.

By submitting the Riverside City College admission application, you will be electing Riverside City College as your HOME COLLEGE. Riverside City College is one of the three colleges in the Riverside Community College District. Be sure to apply for the college where you wish to receive services such as financial aid and counseling. Once your application has been processed, you will be eligible to enroll in classes at Moreno Valley College and Norco College in addition to Riverside City College, so you do not need to submit a separate application for each college.

IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN CLASSES AT ANY OF THE THREE RCCD COLLEGES OR YOU ATTENDED CLASSES DURING THE PREVIOUS FALL OR SPRING TERM, DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION.

How to Apply

  1. Create or login to your OpenCCC account and complete an online admission application. Immediately after you submit your application you will receive an email confirmation that your application has been received. If you experience any difficulties logging into OpenCCC, you will need to use their Recover Account feature or contact OpenCCC technical support for assistance.
  2. Wait one business day (weekends and holidays excluded) to receive your welcome email. Your welcome email includes your RCCD student ID number and RCCD email address. Make sure to check your junk/spam folder.

If you need help completing the admission application, assistance is available at the Welcome Center and at Admissions & Records. Both offices are located on the first floor of the Dr. Charles A. Kane Student Services and Administration Building.

Application Deadlines

Admission applications for the stated terms are only accepted within the following specified admission application submission periods:

Submit application and - if applicable - complete Orientation, Assessment, and Counseling (O.A.C.) by date below to receive a registration appointment according to the Order of Registration.
