Dates and Hours Of Operation

The following links provide schedules for the Moreno Valley, Norco and Riverside Assessment Centers.  These calendars are subject to change.  It is best to re-visit this page the day you wish to test in order to confirm hours of operation.

Walk-In testing: The general Assessment Test can be taken any time during the hours listed; No appointment is required. The Assessment Centers accept students up to the posted closing time. After the posted closing time the lab remains operational an additional 1 1/2 hours for students who arrived PRIOR to closing. All walk-in testing is on a first-come, first-serve basis. If the room is full, a waiting list may be implemented. High School Concurrent Admissions students are welcome to take the High School Concurrent Admissions Test during walk-in hours, but seating priority is given to general admission students.

HS Concurrent Admission Walk-In: Walk-in testing environment similar to above, but where students who need to take the High School Concurrent Admissions Test have seating priority.

Assessment Group Testing: (Norco Only) Group general Assessment Test session by appointment only. (see making an appointment, below)

General Assessment One-Stop: Special session given late in each registration period where students can take the general Assessment Test and receive the required follow-up Orientation/Group Counseling all in the same day. By appointment only. (see making an appointment, below)

PTESL: RCC's English as a Second Language test. An appointment is required. (see making an appointment, below)

PTESL One-Stop: Special session given late in each registration period where students can take the ESL test and receive the required follow-up Orientation/Group Counseling all in the same day. By appointment only. (see making an appointment, below)

Spanish: The Spanish Competency test. An Appointment is required. (see making an appointment, below)

The following situations also require appointments:

1) You need the Math Competency, Reading Competency or Chemistry Diagnostic test.
2) You have an approved Matriculation Appeal
3) You need an Ability to Benefit retest
