About Counseling

The Riverside City College Counseling Center offers individualized academic, career, and personal counseling to assist both prospective and current students in developing the​ir educational programs, coordinating their career and academic goals, and understanding graduation, major, certificate, and transfer requirements. Students can visit or call the office for appointments or drop-in times. Students may also schedule a counseling appointment​.  

PLEASE NOTE: Counseling appointments are not available during the winter session. Starting January 5th 2015 counselors will be available Monday through Thursday on a first come, first served basis. To ensure that you will be seen please arrive early and allow some time to be called. Counselors are here only until 4PM and waiting list may be closed several hours earlier. 

Counselors are not available until the beginning of winter session - January 5th, 2015.

Counseling office will be closed December 25th through January 4th.

Winter Office Hours

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday - 8:00am - 5:00pm

Tuesday - 8:00am - 6:00pm

Friday - 8:00am - 12:00pm

During the FALL semester counseling sessions are by appointment only. There are limited walk-in times for quick questions only excluding Student Educational Plans, Readmit Contracts, Evaluations, Graduation Checks and anything that requires accessing personal acad​emic record. Mentioned
