WORKSHOPS/SEMINARS
The Transfer Centers hosts a variety of educational workshops and seminars throughout the year to assist students in acquiring useful transfer information. Common topics covered include:
TRANSFER FAIRS
Transfer Fairs are coordinated by the Transfer Center every Fall and Spring term where over 35 university representatives visit our campus to speak to students and answer questions. In addition, a Transfer Night is coordinated every Spring, so students taking evening classes can have the opportunity to speak a university representative.
TRANSFER RECOGNITION CEREMONY
Riverside Community College District faculty and staff take great pride when their students achieve their transfer goal. It is important to the faculty and staff to recognize students for their hard work and dedication to their goal of transfer while studying at RCCD. To honor those students who meet their goal, every spring semester prior to graduation the Transfer Center hosts a reception. Contact the center for more information.
Riverside City College: Wednesday, May 27, 2009 from 12 - 2 pm
Norco Campus: Wednesday, May 21, 2009 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Moreno Valley Campus: Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 12 - 2 pm
To participate in a Transfer Recognition Ceremony for one of the three campuses, please download and complete the appropriate form (thoroughly), and drop it off at the Transfer/Career Center. Also, please make sure to bring your acceptance letter and present it when submitting your form.
Deadlines to submit forms:
Riverside City College: Friday, May 25, 2009 by 5 pm
Norco Campus: Friday, May 8, 2009 by 5 pm
Moreno Valley Campus: Thursday, May 14, 2009 by 5 pm

CAMPUS TOURS
Visits to four-year colleges and universities (UC's, CSU's, and Private/Independent schools) are sponsored and coordinated by the Transfer Center. The campus tours offer students the opportunity to visit a campus, learn about their resources and programs, and determine if the school is the right fit. The Transfer Center will provide transportation for students.
Campus Tour to Cal Poly Pomona: Friday, March, 6, 2009 from 7 am - 3:30 pm
Campus Tour to California Baptist University: Friday, March 27 from 7 am - 4:30 pm
Campus Tour to CSU Long Beach: Friday, April 24 from 6 am - 6 pm
Important: In order for a student to participate in a campus tour, they have to pay their student service fee.
