TRANSFER CENTER
The mission of Riverside Community College District Transfer Center is dedicated to increasing the transfer function and to increase the number of students prepared for transfer to baccalaureate-level institutions. This is accomplished through coordination of college transfer efforts, with an emphasis on the preparation and transfer of underrepresented students, including disabled students, low-income students, first-generation college students, and other groups of students underrepresented in the transfer process.
The Center houses a variety of resources, including college catalogs, Internet access, and computer resources that help students who are transferring. These resources include CSU Mentor, University of California, AICCU Mentor (for California's independent colleges), Eureka, and Choices.
The Transfer Center also coordinates a variety of site visits to local colleges and universities. These trips help students learn more about the culture of their prospective colleges, academic majors, and also provide students with site tours.
Stop by the Transfer Center to obtain information on academic majors, admissions processes, articulation agreements, certificate and major sheets, financial aid and scholarship resources. Our skilled staff will also help you with your transfer application, essays or to maneuver through the university admission process.
If you are planning to transfer, please print out the following RCCD Transfer Planning Checklist.
