Hearing Impairments

RCC has one of the largest populations of deaf and hard-of-hearing students in the California Community Colleges. We provide a welcoming environment. Many of our faculty, staff and students are able to communicate in sign language.

Accommodations are provided to assist students in achieving maximum independence while pursuing their educational and career goals. Please contact the DSP&S office and arrange to meet with a counselor or specialist.
