English as a Second Language
In order to prepare non-native students to reach their educational, vocational, or personal goals, the English as a Second Language(ESL) Discipline at Riverside Community College (RCC) provides instruction in reading, writing, speaking and listening to Academic English.
The ESL Discipline endeavors to assess and meet the needs of the changing student population by providing a supportive yet challenging educational environment.
Services at RCC include placement testing, counseling, registration assistance, academic instruction and supplemental instruction.
