Workforce Preparation
The goal of the TANF-CDC Program is to offer eligible CalWORKs students the opportunity to become California credentialed preschool teachers. Students pursuing a Preschool Teacher Permit may use multiple options for completing the educational program including short-term, weekend, and on-line at all three campuses. Utilizing existing Early Childhood Education classes, work experience, and CalWORKs supportive services, you will be prepared to qualify as an associate teacher or a teacher through the California Child Development permit process.
