To everyone at RCCD, please take a moment to go onto our website and sign up for instant "Alert-U" notification for all urgent/emergency messages text directly to your cellular phone. We recently sent out an Alert-U message informing enrolled employees and students where updated information about the Swine Flu could be found. In the event of an urgent alert, the Alert-U system will be utilized and it will be the fast source for notification.
Please take the first few minutes of every class today to remind and/or educate your students about this free service. It takes less than 30 seconds, and each student you encourage to sign up, gets us closer to our goal of 100% enrollment.
Sign up is simple. Visit our campus website and sign up for your specific campus or sign up for all campuses (preferred) to receive information from all RCCD sites. You can also text message using your cellular phone to: 253788. In the text box, type the words: RCC (Riverside Campus), Norco (Norco Campus), or MOVY (Moreno Valley Campus). If you are at an offsite location, it is best to sign up for all three campuses.
