About

Lynn Wright, Ph.D., brings over two decades of leadership and instructional experience within the California Community College system to her role as Vice President of Academic Affairs at Riverside City College. Appointed by the Board of Trustees in June 2024, Wright leads RCC’s nearly 200 academic programs with a focus on faculty excellence, academic integrity, and equity-centered student success.

Previously at Ventura College, she held several key roles including Dean of Student Learning, co-chair of the Guided Pathways Stewards Committee, and administrative lead on the Professional Development Coordination Council. Her career began at Pasadena City College, where she served as a tenured English faculty member and department coordinator.

A dedicated advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, Wright has contributed to numerous statewide initiatives, including the Basic Skills Initiative Steering Committee and the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Guided Pathways Advisory Council. She is deeply committed to fostering equitable and accessible academic pathways that empower students to achieve their goals.
