Homecoming Week is back at RCC and we’re throwing it all the way through the decades. From a virtual scavenger hunt to a retro carnival, karaoke on the Quad Steps, a pep rally, and the big game, there’s something every Tiger can jump into.
Bring your squad, rep your era, and help us celebrate RCC spirit all week long. Most events are free for students with ID—come for the vibes, stay for the prizes, and don’t forget to vote for Homecoming Royalty!

RCC Homecoming Week
Celebrate a full week of Tiger spirit! Here’s the complete lineup of Homecoming events.
Tuesday 9/23 – Retro Rewind (Decades Carnival)
Crafts, activities, and photo booths—make your own disco ball, paint a vinyl, tie-dye a shirt, and more. Hula-hoop contest to see who can last the longest for prizes.
Time/Place: Noon–2 pm, Quad
Wednesday 9/24 – Sing It Back: Retro Karaoke
Dance, lip sync, and perform your way through the decades. Bring the drama and the fun (maybe even a little Milli Vanilli magic).
Time/Place: Noon–2 pm, Quad Steps
Wednesday 9/24 – Waterpolo, Cookout & Volleyball + Decades Bingo
Join us for Decades Bingo at the waterpolo and volleyball matches. Get a Bingo card with different clues, complete the card and submit before the 2nd set of the volleyball match to enter to win a $100 Amazon gift card.
Times/Places: Waterpolo 3 pm & 4:15 pm (Aquatics) · Cookout 5 pm (Aquatics) · Volleyball 6 pm (Wheelock Gym)
Thursday 9/25 – Dress to Impress: The Decades (Runway Edition)
Strut your best era look. Categories: 1920s, 50s, 60s/70s, 80s, 90s, plus Overall. Winners receive $25 gift cards.
Time/Place: 12:30 pm, Quad Steps
Thursday 9/25 – “Decades of Spirit” Pep Rally
Hype before the big game! First 400 with RCC IDs get Raising Cane’s. Performances by Band, Cheer, Theatre, and Dance. Meet the Homecoming Royalty candidates, field-goal contest, and giveaways.
Time/Place: 4:30 pm, Wheelock Stadium
Saturday 9/27 – Homecoming Football Game
Tailgate at 10 am in the parking lot. Tigers vs. Palomar; kickoff at noon. Homecoming Royalty announced at halftime.
