Riverside City College will be offering affordable housing for our students on the UC Riverside campus beginning in August 2025!
This new housing will create a dynamic affordable residential community for RCC students integrated within the UCR campus. This innovative partnership creates an affordable student housing complex serving both RCC and UCR students. It includes two residential buildings with apartment-style units, providing 326 beds for qualified RCC students, ensuring that students from diverse backgrounds have access to safe and affordable housing.
While living in this community, residents will enjoy on-site study and social engagement spaces, a fitness room, a convenience store, and more. In addition, there will be access to several student engagement areas on the UCR campus such as the library and dining centers.
This partnership made the project eligible for $126 million in state money, which RCCD and UCR jointly applied for and were awarded in July 2023. Construction is on schedule and is anticipated to be completed in Summer 2025.
Students will need to meet eligibility requirements when applying.
