Riverside City College Recognized with NSNA Stellar School Chapter Award

Riverside City College (RCC) is proud to announce that it has been named a recipient of the prestigious NSNA Stellar School Chapter Recognition by the National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA). This honor acknowledges our school chapter's ongoing involvement with NSNA and our dedication to shared governance and the professional development of our nursing students.

The NSNA Stellar School Chapter plaque and pins will be presented to RCC’s Dean of Instruction, Tammy Vanthul, our Faculty Advisor, and our School Chapter President at the NSNA 73rd Annual Convention, set for April 9-13, 2025, in Seattle, WA. The award ceremony will take place during the Closing Ceremony & Awards Presentation on Saturday, April 12, from 4:15 pm – 6:15 pm. Our Dean, Faculty Advisor, and School Chapter President will be recognized on stage and will have the opportunity to take part in a celebratory photo.

This recognition highlights our nursing program’s commitment to developing leadership and professional growth among students, ensuring they have active roles within the NSNA. As a result of this award, RCC will proudly display the NSNA Stellar School Chapter logo on our website and other materials, reinforcing our commitment to excellence in nursing education and student engagement.

NSNA members from Riverside City College will also have the opportunity to purchase NSNA Stellar School pins at the convention or order them through the NSNA Store to proudly showcase this recognition.
