Riverside City College Welcomes UDW Members to Learn About Education and Career Pathways
Riverside City College (RCC) is partnering with Moreno Valley College (MVC), Norco College, and the Union for Domestic Workers (UDW) to provide members with valuable information about low-cost and tuition-free education programs. RCC is proud to host a series of orientation events designed to connect UDW members with pathways to education, professional growth, and personal development.
Program Orientation Dates:
- Thursday, January 23 | 6-8 PM
- Thursday, January 30 | 10-11:30 AM
- Thursday, February 6 | 10:00-11:30 AM & 6-8 PM
All orientations will take place in person at the RCC Welcome Center, offering UDW members a chance to explore opportunities that fit their schedules and goals.
Opportunities for UDW Members:
- Low-Cost and Tuition-Free Programs (Credit and Noncredit)
- Healthcare Pathways: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Acute Care Nursing Assistant, and Home Health Aide
- Business Concentration (Certificate Programs)
- English as a Second Language (ESL): UDW members may qualify for a paid stipend to attend this class.
- UDW Resource Center Services
Additionally, attendees will learn about available resources, financial aid opportunities, and personalized support designed to help them succeed.

During the UDW Resource Center Open House, held earlier this month, the outreach teams from RCC, MVC, and Norco College joined forces to provide attendees with valuable insights about transitioning to college, preparing for their educational journey, and tapping into community support services.
