Women in STEM play a crucial role in shaping the future of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, yet they remain underrepresented in many fields. Encouraging and supporting women in STEM is essential for fostering innovation, diversifying perspectives, and addressing global challenges. By creating inclusive spaces, providing mentorship, and highlighting the achievements of women in these fields, institutions like Riverside City College empower the next generation of female scientists, engineers, and innovators. Women in STEM Week serves as a platform to inspire, educate, and build a supportive network that advances gender equity in STEM disciplines.
