Riverside City College Celebrates Women’s History Month with Women in STEM Week, March 24–28, 2025

Riverside City College (RCC) is proud to present Women in STEM Week, a weeklong series of events from March 24 to March 28, 2025, in celebration of Women’s History Month. The event aims to highlight the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) while fostering a supportive community for aspiring female scientists, engineers, and innovators.
Join us for engaging discussions, inspiring panels, hands-on activities, and networking opportunities as we celebrate the contributions and potential of women in STEM. All students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend.

Monday, March 24
Sweet Success: Meet Your STEM Counselors & Grab a Cookie
Start the week with coffee, cookies, and an opportunity to connect with RCC’s STEM
Counselors. Students can ask questions about courses, career paths, and transfer planning.

Gals in STEM – Student Researchers Share Their Journeys
A panel discussion featuring RCC’s female STEM students who have participated in paid
research programs at regional universities. Attendees will gain insights into their
experiences and learn about research opportunities.

Lift Off: Celebrating Women in STEM with Hidden Figures
The week concludes with a screening of Hidden Figures, the inspiring story of three Black women mathematicians who played a crucial role
