The Black Faculty Staff Association (BFSA) at Riverside City College (RCC), in collaboration with the Division of Student Services, successfully organized and hosted a vibrant tailgate event on October 26, 2023. The gathering welcomed over 75 attendees, including students, staff, faculty, and Vice Presidents, fostering a sense of community and support for the RCC Tigers football team.

The event featured delicious BBQ prepared by Interim VP Thomas Cruz-Soto and Jose Diaz from Trio, who manned the grill, serving mouthwatering food that delighted attendees. The atmosphere was lively with music, camaraderie, and the excitement of cheering on the RCC Tigers as they celebrated an impressive victory against Southwestern, winning 69-3.

"This event was a wonderful opportunity for our campus community to come together, enjoy great food, and show our support for our student-athletes," said an Attendee. "We are proud of our Tigers and grateful for the support from everyone who attended."
