Riverside City College Celebrates Annual Halloweentown with Community Festivities
Riverside City College (RCC) hosted its annual Halloweentown event on Friday, October 25, 2024, bringing together students, families, and community members for an evening filled with Halloween magic.
The event, a long-standing RCC tradition, offered a wide array of activities and entertainment, creating a vibrant and family-friendly atmosphere across campus. Highlights included:
- Spooky Maze: Attendees braved a maze filled with eerie twists, playful scares, and surprises, making it a thrilling experience for all ages.
- Trick-or-Treat Stations: Children enjoyed trick-or-treating at various themed booths, gathering candy and treats in a safe, welcoming environment.
- Live Music and Entertainment: RCC student musicians and local performers provided festive tunes, creating an upbeat soundtrack for the night’s celebrations.
- Giveaways and Prizes: Attendees participated in raffles and contests, with winners taking home RCC-themed merchandise and gifts from community partners.
“Halloweentown is more than just a celebration—it’s a way for RCC to strengthen ties with our community,” said Dr. Claire Oliveros, RCC President. “Seeing so many families, students, and neighbors come together to share in the festivities was truly heartwarming.”
