RCC Landis Haunted Maze: A Spectral Spectacle in the Heart of Halloween Town
Riverside City College is gearing up for an exhilarating Halloween celebration with the return of the eagerly anticipated RCC Landis Haunted Maze. As the spooky season beckons, the Theatre Department is preparing to thrill and chill visitors with a maze that promises to be bigger and scarier than ever before.
"This is our 3rd maze, and it just keeps getting bigger and scarier," shared the team behind the spine-tingling extravaganza. The Riverside City College Theatre Department has been at work conjuring up an experience that will excite attendees. But it's not all frights and frissons—every generous donation contributes to the Theatre Department, supporting their upcoming productions and ensuring a vibrant future for the arts on campus.
"We are live this Thursday, October 19, through Saturday, October 21, from 6-9 pm, with an extra special opening during Halloween Town on Friday the 27th from 5-8 pm," announced the organizers, inviting thrill-seekers and Halloween enthusiasts to mark their calendars. The annual haunted maze has become a staple in the community, drawing crowds eager for a good scare and a chance to support the local arts scene.
Speaking about the evolution of the haunted maze, Jason Buuck, Assistant Professor of Acting/Directing, shared,
"What started as just a fun idea to give back to the college has turned into a major event and exciting experience for the students."
Buuck's sentiment reflects the passion and dedication that the RCC Theatre Department brings to this spirited event, infusing it with a unique blend of artistry and frightful fun.
But the thrills don't stop there—this haunted maze is about community involvement. The organizers are calling all willing ghouls and ghosts to join in their spectral endeavors, promising an unforgettable experience and the opportunity to be part of something truly hauntingly spectacular.
Make sure to save the dates and muster your courage! The Landis Haunted Maze will be open on October 19, 20, and 21 from 6-9 pm, with an additional haunting on October 27 from 5-8 pm. Entry requires only a $2 donation. This chilling maze stands as one of the must-attend events in Riverside City's Halloween Town!
