RCC’s Tom Craft to Be Inducted into the Riverside Sport Hall of Fame

Riverside City College (RCC) is proud to announce that Tom Craft, the college’s esteemed head football coach, will be inducted into the Riverside Sport Hall of Fame. This honor celebrates Craft’s remarkable coaching career, his impact on student-athletes, and his contributions to the success of RCC’s football program. 

The induction of Tom Craft into the Riverside Sport Hall of Fame will take place at a later date, honoring his extraordinary coaching career and contributions to athletics at Riverside City College. The event celebrated Craft's achievements, including his role in building RCC’s football program into one of the nation’s best, as well as his lasting impact on student-athletes. His recognition among Riverside’s most influential sports figures underscores a legacy of leadership, mentorship, and excellence both on and off the field

Craft has been instrumental in transforming RCC’s football program into one of the most competitive in the nation. Under his leadership, the Tigers have earned numerous conference titles and state championships, gaining recognition as a powerhouse in community college athletics. Beyond the accolades, Craft’s commitment to fostering both athletic and academic success has empowered student-athletes to excel on the field and in their educational pursuits. 

“Tom Craft’s work reflects the heart of what we strive for at RCC—developing students both athletically and academically,” said Dr. Thomas Cruz-Soto, Interim Vice President of Student Services. “His influence extends beyond wins and trophies, shaping the character of young men who carry the lessons they learn here into their futures.” 

Craft’s induction into the Riverside Sport Hall of Fame highlights a career filled with achievement, resilience, and dedication to student success. He joins a distinguished group of athletes and coaches who have made lasting contributions to the Riverside sports community. The induction ceremony will take place later this year, celebrating Craft’s legacy and his continued impact on RCC and the city of Riverside.
