Riverside City College Student Catie Prado Makes a Splash on Wheel of Fortune

Riverside City College student Catie Prado recently had the opportunity of a lifetime when she appeared on the popular game show, Wheel of Fortune. The episode, which aired on June 6, 2023, showcased Catie's impressive skills as she went head-to-head against two other contestants, Kira Paskett from Southern Utah University and David Avelsgard from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Although Catie did not emerge as the ultimate winner that night, she left an indelible mark on the show. Currently, Catie is gaining valuable experience by working at a pediatric dental office. She obtained her X-ray license at the age of 17, displaying her dedication and ambition.

Beyond her academic pursuits and professional endeavors, Catie also finds time to give back to her community. She generously offers her tutoring services to high school and first-year college students, positively impacting their educational journeys. Catie credits her grandparents, who faithfully watch Wheel of Fortune every single night from Riverside, CA.
