Join the Art Department on July 9, 2021, as they host talented artist Arem Kim as their Virtual Summer Guest Speaker. Arem Kim is a layout artist who enjoys bringing her cinematography and visual storytelling knowledge to the computer graphics world. She specializes in the camera aspects of animated productions. As a layout artist, she has contributed to films like Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Smallfoot, The Lego Movie 2, and Ninjago.
Arem has participated in many talks, sharing, and publications to inspire more young artists to join the future of the animation industry. She is currently a Layout Artist in the Camera & Staging department at Pixar Animation Studios. This event is open and free to the public. For access to the zoom link please email will.kim@rcc.edu.
