RCC Animation Student Nominated for Best Animation Award at Arpa International Film Festival
Riverside City College (RCC) is proud to announce that animation student Caiwei Zhou’s animated film has been officially selected and nominated for the Best Animation Award at the prestigious Arpa International Film Festival in Los Angeles. The festival took place on Sunday, October 27, 2024, celebrating outstanding contributions in independent filmmaking. Zhou’s film was the only submission from a community college to compete alongside films produced by professionals and students from four-year universities.
The Arpa International Film Festival, known for showcasing innovative and thought-provoking works from around the world, is a high-profile event that brings together filmmakers, industry professionals, and film enthusiasts. Zhou’s nomination reflects RCC’s Animation program's emphasis on creativity, technical skills, and storytelling.
