Marketing Resources Committee

The purpose of the Marketing Resources Committee (MRC) is to serve as an advisory resource for the development and implementation of the College's Brand Guides, recruitment campaigns, and marketing strategies including the college’s website and social media. The MRC will also consult/collaborate with the appropriate college constituent groups as needed to fulfill the goals designated by the Resource Development & Administrative Services Leadership Council (RDAS).

The MRC will advise the RD&AS Leadership Council on the on-going development and implementation of the College's Brand Guide, provide feedback to marketing staff on print, radio and other strategic marketing efforts, assist in the development of standards for social media, as well as provide guidelines related to the RCC website, and serve as the review committee for marketing and print requests that affect the RCC brand.  The Brand Guide is the institutional guide that facilitates communication with campus constituents regarding marketing strategies in order to maintain consistent communication and branding within and outside the college community. MRC will also facilitate, guide, and communicate the development and maintenance of marketing strategies, college campaigns, campus banners, RCC website, and social media strategies.

The MRC is composed of representatives from students, faculty, classified professionals, and management. Appointments of the membership shall be made by the Associated Students of RCC for student appointments, the Academic Senate for faculty appointments; the California School Employees Association for classified professional appointments, and the college administration for management appointments.
